Smelly ALT's

As I was showering late last night the water pressure suddenly dropped. Eventually it all but stopped and I was suddenly thankful I don’t wash my hair at night. I checked my basin and kitchen sink but I got nothing.

I didn’t see the point in waking everyone up after midnight as I doubt the problem could have been sorted before the morning. Sure enough from 6:30am the panic began and people resorted to using bottled water or going to other people’s houses for a shower. It has been very hot this week too which didn’t help.

Thankfully by the time we got home the problem had been fixed but it just makes you realize how much we take it for granted that when we turn on a tap, water will come out!
